A unique methodology
In collaboration with the Academic Medical Centre in Amsterdam (AMC), we have developed a unique method that enables us to track down employees who are in the preliminary stages of burnout. We are talking about people who have too much work pressure and really suffer from it (phase experienced stress), about people who are able to act on top of them (phase recovery need) and people who already have complaints due to stress (phase distress).
How we work
PSA has many causes and our questionnaire measures on 7 different aspects. For example, we can measure whether someone is in one or more of these 7 aspects in one of the pre-phases of burnout.
If that is the case, one of our M&A psychologists will talk to this employee. Why is he or she in this phase and more importantly, what needs to be done to get out of this phase? In many cases we then work together with specialised parties, such as HSK. But we also like to work with parties with which you, as an employer, already have good experiences. The result is that the employee is helped on time, before he or she drops out. And because we get to work so early, it's fairly easy to get someone back into balance.
After three months we measure how the employee is doing again and then he or she appears to be functioning well again in almost all cases.
But we're going one step further. Our questionnaires and consultations provide us with a lot of information about your organisation and the work processes. And especially what can be improved. We then establish a correlation with the PSA problems found and advise you what measures you can take to structurally tackle the PSA problems in your organisation.
On the one hand, we can limit failures due to PSA and, on the other hand, you can tackle the causes structurally.
